Nine years ago Jared picked me up for our first date for a picnic and hike in Hudson, Ohio. Three years ago we said ‘I love you forever’ in front of a wonderful group of family and friends in Cannon Beach, Oregon. Today we have come full circle and are back in Hudson, still enjoying our life together. We’ll be celebrating quietly and modestly this year, just the two of us and dinner in our home.
If you missed it in 2009, take a peek at our wedding photos: one, two, three, four, five

This week’s ‘Covet’ post is everything and anything MaeMae Paperie. I’ve been pouring over Megan’s portfolio, shop and blog all evening. I still adore our invitations, but this is another “if I could go back and do it again” moments when it comes to our wedding.

Roses are perfectly classic, romantic and lush. With a family wedding at the end of the week, I’m in a weddingy (that’s not a word…) mood. Plus I was greeted with a little red rosebud on one of our new rose bushes this morning. So welcome to my fantasy rose garden wedding…

Wouldn’t this mood board/treasury make a beautiful summer bridal shower? Roses, chocolate marshmallows, lavender, lace and pretty feminine underthings for the bride-to-be. I can picture the whole thing in a lovely old house or rose garden. For more on any of the items above head over to the treasury to take a closer peek!
Today is just my day over at Emmaline Bride! Not only am I a featured seller in their handmade marketplace, but they also featured our wedding for their Real Weddings series! I loved re-living our big day through their edit (they did a beautiful job laying it all out) and shared some photos I never posted here. Be sure to check it out!
Thanks so much to Emma and the team at Emmaline Bride! I’m so happy to be part of the community. Looking forward to collaborating again!
My college roommate Christa Kimble is an amazing wedding photographer and the sweetest person you will ever meet. Yesterday an adorable engagement shoot she did at the Ohio State Fair was featured on Green Wedding Shoes! It’s such a sweet session. So much personality and such a cute couple! Congrats Christa! Can’t wait to see their wedding photos!
Every so often our amazing wedding photographer Christina Gilchrist is inspired to go back through her film and find little gems she may not have noticed before, or re-edits photos from our wedding. She is always sweet enough to send them along to us which is a lovely way to re-live little moments from our wedding.
Here are some of my new favorites from this bunch…
The highly anticipated bridal collection from Anthopologie has finally arrived! BHLDN (aka: Beholden) was introduced to a fanfare from blogs across the web. I was too busy sanding away to get a good look at until the evening, so sorry if this is old news already but I had to show you my personal favorites from the collection.
I love the pop of blue and orange in this otherwise soft palette. And if you know me at all, you know I have a thing for velvet ribbon in rich tones.

Remember A Alicia’s beautiful knit accessories I mentioned earlier this week? Well Anna also has a beautiful bridal shop chock full of wedding goodies including beautiful garters, ring pillows, clutches, jewelry, corsages and a collection of adorable hair accessories. I love the vintage lace pom poms and gold lame bows.
Anna has graciously offered 10% to Lost & Fawned readers when they purchase this week! Use the discount code ‘LOSTANDFAWNED’ when you make a purchase at A Alicia Weddings to receive the discount. Code expires on September 10th.
And SURPRISE! Anna has also offered 10% at her accessories shop as well! Also use the discount code ‘LOSTANDFAWNED’ when you purchase from A Alicia Handmade to get 10% off your purchase!
