I love working with Nicole at Sent Well. She always has something new up her sleeve. This month when I sent he a “What’s new?” email, she responded by sending me some photos of her newest line of cards. These cards are perfect for brightening someone’s day or just catching up. And they come with a bonus! The top part is perforated and the inside has a keepsake recipe card.
Since we both have a sweet tooth and soft spot for lemon desserts, I used the recipe card to send my grandma a copy of this Easy Lemon Cookie recipe. She loves getting old fashioned mail, and this one will come with a little surprise. She’s going to love that she can tear out the card and add it to her recipe file.
The other 2 cards in this line include a crafty DIY directions card and a cocktail card that includes 2 cocktail recipes. All 3 cards are currently available on Sent Well. Sent Well ships super fast and has a unique collection of independently designed cards and gifts.
Visit Sent Well today and treat someone you love to some good old fashioned mail or stock up on cards for this summer’s showers, weddings and special occasions. Make sure to throw in a couple of these perforated cards just in case.
My glasses have arrived. It’s so nice to see everything clearly! But of course the thing you want to see are the frames! Bonlook was kind enough to give me a discount on a pair to give them a try. They set me up with a stylist who worked with me to find the right pair for my face.
For reference, here is a photo of me sans-glasses (and apparently eyebrows… sometimes being a natural blonde is awful).
The first frames are the Bonnie & Clydes in black. These are the frames the stylist from Bonlook selected for my face shape and size. I love them. The frames are nice and thin for a large frame. They don’t overwhelm my face or look too big and costumey, but of course it is going to take some time to get used to wearing glasses at all. I’ll have to keep my eyes out for a pair in the brown when they are back in stock. I think they would look great in a softer color too.
The second pair of frames is the Hoovervilles in brown. I picked these ones out myself. We actually had a hard time getting a good photo of me in these. They are thicker than the Bonnie & Clydes. The shape is classic. I love the color. The texture is more matte, very little shine. I can see me wearing these often. They make me feel studious.
Overall I have to say that the Bonnie & Clydes are my favorites. I think they are more flattering and balanced on my face size. The stylist that helped me did a great job picking out a pair that really flatter my face. They really have it down to a science over there.
As far as the technical stuff goes, they feel nice and sturdy. My prescription seems accurate. Shipping was pretty speedy. I think it took about a week from order to arrival on my doorstep. Their customer service was beyond wonderful. I’m really very pleased.
Don’t forget to enter to win $50 for Bonlook this week! You still have plenty of time to get your entries in. Plus, you get $10 automatically for entering!
Note // Thanks to my little brother who helped me take the photos. Although for his sake I would like to note I did the final editing. As his expertise is cars and snowboarders, he’s not a big fan of my dialed back coloration. ;P Thanks Drew!
As promised, here is a review for my new Society 6 Iphone case. There is not a lot out there in the way of reviews for this case, so I purchased it almost blind. I received my case on Friday and had an active weekend with it. The one I purchased was Animal’s Tea Party by Teagan White. The print is even cuter in person.
// Pros:
// Cons:
Overall I love the case. I think Jared was hoping for more. But it meets my expectation. I will probably be ordering a screen protector to protect from scratching and maybe a sleeve since my purse can get a little messy in the summer.
EDIT //
I have finally opened my Society 6 shop! Thank to the encouragement of my readers you can now purchase Lost & Fawned Iphone cases as well as photo prints, canvases, totes, tees and more!
