#drawmyfood with Kendyll Hillegas

Vintage Pyrex Bread Bowl by Kendyll Hillegas on Lost and FawnedInstagram is one of my favorite ways to connect with readers, artists, fellow bloggers and brands.  I’ve worked with Kendyll Hillegas in the past and adore her work.  One of her food prints is currently hanging by our stove.  A few weeks ago she asked her followers on Instagram to tag their most delicious food photos with #drawmyfood for a chance to see them transformed into a hand-drawn work of art.  I quickly tagged my photo of fresh homemade peasant bread in my favorite vintage Butterprint Pyrex mixing bowl and crossed my fingers.

She selected my photo!  And I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results!  It was so much fun to follow along as she posted progress photos.  The print of my bread bowl is now complete and available to be purchased on Etsy.

  1. I love this; so much fun!! Heading over to follow her now.

(PS – thanks for the info on your Early American bowls! I’ve got a set of 401-402-403 headed my way as we speak! I know the 401 doesn’t have the kitty but Im a sucker for the size…and EA’s grown on me, with or without the kitty!)

    • Yay!! 401’s are great for soup or a generous bowl of ice cream! And I love pyrex mixing bowls. They are so heavy. I have a mix and match kitchen set I use for everything! I also have the EA set and half of the fall colored Americana set.

  2. Wow!! Thank you, Lindsey!! Sorry I didn’t see this sooner. I LOVE it! <3 <3 <3
