“I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Millennial Central for Whish Body. I received a promotional item and Whish Body samples to facilitate my review.”
A couple of weeks ago, I made the transition in my closet from boots and sweaters to skirts and sundresses. Spring is finally in full swing (it seemed to take forever to get here this year) and between gardening, historic walking tours and trips to the outdoor market, my skin is loving the fresh air and sunshine.
Bare legs also means I need to ramp up my shaving routine though. Like many, I have sensitive skin. When you are dragging a set of blades across a wide expanse of skin it’s especially important to pay attention to your products. When at all possible I try to stay away from harsh chemicals and irritating dyes. This is why I was super excited to try Whish products this week. I have come across them at Nordstrom and they have always intrigued me. I’m also going to take a leap and look into beard care, I’m sure I can find organics that will suit me, regardless of blue vs pink.
I have grown accustomed to a condition I call “Day 1 Skin”. When I use regular soap or conventional shaving creams I have razor bumps and itchy skin the first day. My legs are hair free, but my skin is irritated for a good 24 hours.
This week I used Whish Shave Cream and Whish Hair Inhibiting Gel, both in Lavender. Whish has some awesome tips to get the best results out of your shaving routine. I was so pleased. When I was done shaving and moisturized with the Hair Inhibiting Gel I didn’t have “Day 1 Skin” at all. There were no bumps, my skin was smooth, comfortable AND hair free. It’s now 4 days later and I’m only starting to get some regrowth. Needless to say, I’m pleased.
If you want to treat your legs and give Whish a try, visit your local Nordstrom store or Nordstrom.com. I would categorize Whish products as an affordable luxury. Instead of picking up bath bombs or getting a spa this month, why not pick up some products from the Whish line?
