Another week flies by and we find ourselves in the middle of September already. In order to eat a little better this winter, we purchased a quarter of a steer for fresh, local beef all winter. We plan to also pick up some stew hens from some friends of ours when they thin their flock for winter. Hopefully that will mean less take-out and more homemade meals.

- Target just launched their new Shops, including their line from The Curiosity Shoppe. I treated myself to a pair of the mugs for our collection.
- Speaking of treating myself, I picked up this little pair of earrings from Madrona Studio to wear with a chunky necklace for autumn events.
- Need a pick-me-up this morning? Fall in love with this red panda playing with a pumpkin. No speakers needed to enjoy.
- My friend Korey got me hooked on Whole Larder Love this week, and now I’m ready to buy a cabin in the woods and live off the land.
- I’ve been feeling a little homesick lately and am craving a trip to see my family in Portland soon. For now I can just get lost in this beautiful time lapse video of Pacific Northwestern natural landmarks.
