Last night Jared and I both found ourselves entranced by the process of Riusuke Fukahori. He uses a meticulous method of painting carefully layered resin to create 3-dimensional goldfish floating in various found containers.

That looks insane! I saw the one in the cake pan-ish thingy before I read the text, and thought “that’s sick; who’s casting live goldfish into jello molds.” I guess that speaks to the mastery of Fukahori’s art (:
It makes me wonder how long he has sat and studied live goldfish. When you watch him paint he is actually fairly quick and paints with such purpose.
How can one person have that much talent and creativity? That is absolutely amazing!
