Say “hello” to our newest craig’s list find. We loved the lines of this hutch in the blurry, dark photo in the ad, so we took a chance, borrowed a bigger car and drove 30 minutes to pick it up. I’m so glad we did. It’s the perfect size for our bedroom corner. It’s in need of a refinishing at some point, but for the price it’s in great shape.
Our bedroom is actually starting to look like a real room! I have a print in the mail from Society 6 for that frame in the corner. Next on my list is some DIY window treatments for the 2 windows and re-do the lamp on my bedside table/ottoman. Please excuse the random dog-butt in the photos.
Totally inspiring. I frequently peruse Petfinder (dangerous, I know), and so many dogs are photographed in poor lighting (hello crazy dog eyes!), behind fences or in crates and at lousy and unflattering angles. Like Teresa says in the video, if each photographer out there worked with on shelter or donated one afternoon a month, so many dogs could be saved.
This bench is awesome. Point One: The seats were hand chopped by a “lumberjill”. Point Two: It was formed completely on the fly and is a total original. Point Three: I love how the white finish enhances the beautiful angular, fractured texture of the chopped log. And kudos to the motorcycle saddle maker who designed and built the upholstered seats.
