Well, it only took me a few hours of scrambling to pull it together and I did it! By 1:00 the bed was here and from there it was a matter of pulling together some simple but colorful accessories. My grandma’s good friend Linda sent me this amazing antique quilt. It is seriously one of the most gorgeous quits I have ever laid eyes on and it really makes the room feel comfy.
I snipped our first full hydrangea from the side of the house and my kitchen cart has finally found a home as the perfect height nightstand.
I think it really came together nicely! My mom and John are very pleased and I think it may be one of the prettier rooms in our house. What do you think?

OMG I LOVE that quilt!! That’s amazing! That bedframe is pretty darn cute too. I wish they didn’t make all beds like “sleigh” beds or platform beds nowadays, I never like any of those. I miss the old-timey bedframes like this.
So impressed, Lindsey! Way to go!
You seriously amaze me!!!! I want to hire you one day.
Love it! Honored that you picked our pillowcases. Your room looks really great. I love how you used bright colors, but it’s not overwhelming at all. Great job!
