Our house didn’t come with a beautiful yard.  We are literally starting from scratch.  We have a big yard of gravel.  Grass is a project for another year, but we needed some green in our lives, so this past weekend we got to work and built a pair of raised beds.  Most of our seeds are inside germinating until sometime in May, but a few select things are out in large containers including our miniature strawberry patch which is growing in a large vintage sink we found in the trash.
