I mentioned before I will be sprinkling a few hints of color in my new collection. One of those colors is coral. I have had these little vintage Japanese glass beads for awhile and the other day I put together a range of new pieces for spring and summer that celebrate coral. I love coral paired with copper. It makes a beautiful partner to turquoise as well. The pin brooch is a real statement piece. It looks lovely with my olive velvet blazer.

This year Valentines Day went without celebration. We ended up sanding for 12 hours, eating fast food on the floor, frantically pricing carpet and passing out exhausted. Needless to say, it was anything but romantic. Jared came home yesterday and took me totally by surprise. He had a beautiful bouquet of white roses with pink tips and took me out to a sit-down dinner. It was very sweet and just what I needed.
Also, I’m loving taking photographs in the dark dining room. It makes a beautiful backdrop and the afternoon light is lovely.
