Stair Inspiration

I’ve over at the house this afternoon trying to get some painting done before we sand the floors tomorrow.  We spent the week pulling staples out of the floors and stairs, and everything seems to be in pretty good condition!  If you recall the steps they have seen better days.  I don’t have the heart to cover them again though.  The risers were painted long ago, so we plan to just repaint them clean white for now.  I love the way that looks on curved steps (which we have 2 of!).

There is also some blank space on the walls in the stairwell that is begging for something fabulous to fill it.  I’m not sure what that is yet, but it will be staying clean white so just about anything can go there.  I’ll have to think about that one.
