Lost & Fawned

(Photo by Lucy Snowe – $35)

Well we had our first major snow of the year in Ohio and there is no mistaking it’s winter now.  White out conditions, a full foot of snow and frigid temperatures welcomed us this week.  It’s nothing new to us, but it is still always an adjustment when it rolls in.  Time to hunker down for (at least) 4 months of this.

As much as we hate the long, slow rides to work, walking the dog when it’s freezing out and wet socks when you come inside, winter does create some gorgeous snowy landscapes here in northeast Ohio and of course hot drinks, snugly nights indoors and layering.  Here are some of my picks inspired by the blizzard this week.

(Homemade Cardamom Marshmallows from Whimsy & Spice – $6)

(Soran Ribbed Cowl from Murano & Tagua – On SALE for $60)

(DIY White Gift Wrap Tutorial on Style me Pretty)

(Cable knit Sweaters from Gap in New Natural – Left $59.50 & Right $69.50)

(Sparkle Soy Votives in your choice of scent from Mierio – $10)

For those of you in similar climates, stay warm this week!  And for those of where it IS warm, send some sun our way!

Oh yes, those Ohio Winters!! I’ve lived in nothing but wintery states…yet somehow each winter had a different feel to me. Ohio winters are different from Michigan winters are different from Pennsylvania winters are different from Iowa winters!! Iowa has the windiest one so far which makes it colder – brrr!
