Homeowners at Long Last (well almost)

As some of you know we have been on the hunt for our first home for quite awhile.  We have had a couple of heart breaks and learned so much.  But as of tonight it is likely the hunt is over.  Our bid was accepted and pending an inspection the house on Maple Street is ours.  I tend to be a little superstitious, so I have held off say anything about it until some paperwork was signed but I’m now feeling confident that sometime in January (yes we will be moving in the dead of a cold Ohio winter) we will be moving into our first home.

To celebrate (maybe prematurely but the sale ends tomorrow) I purchased this papercut print from Elsita.  Until tomorrow it’s on sale for $15 (down from $25) along with many other prints.  I think it will be a perfect addition to our new entry way.

It’s late, and it’s been a long and stressful day.  I’m finally off to bed now.  And maybe I’ll even get some sound sleep.  See you tomorrow.
