The amazingly talented Myra of Twigs & Honey has finally announced her new product line, and I have to say I couldn’t be more excited! This week she introduced Twigscent, her new fragrance line. The first scent is Rumpledcake and new scents will be introduced seasonally. Floral, warm and sweet, Rumpledcake sounds like the perfect feminine fall fragrance. Each batch and the packaging is lovingly handmade with natural and organic ingredients. I’m dying to get my hands on some.
Congratulations on your new endeavor Myra! Best wishes!
It’s going to be a light day on the blog. I’m busy working on a braided rag rug of my very own and I want to see how far I can get in a day with the ‘rags’ I have. I came upon a large bag of 3″ wide strips of new fabric from a company leftover from a discontinued product. I’ve had in my office for months trying to think of something to re purpose it and this weekend it dawned on me. I’m hoping it will be large enough of our dining room, but we shall see.

As a homework assignment for a new e-course I’m taking I have to do a lot of thinking about my personal style. One thing I know about our personal style is that we are naturally drawn to spaces that are casual and rustic. I adore a little farmhouse with wood floors that have lots of wear and character. This kitchen has brick floors, which might not me entirely practical for a kitchen but would be beautiful for a mud room or connected “gardening shed” and green house.
