I listed some new vintage pieces over at Lost & Fawned HOME.  I haven’t updated in awhile.  Things have just been crazy.  But I’ll have a lot more hopefully coming soon.  I love finding little vintage treasures and these ones are just begging for a home.  Some of my favorites include this candy apple red 2 hole punch and this bright brass switch plate.  I also listed the cutest little vintage sewing kit that is purse sized and perfect for fashion emergencies.

Happy shopping!

It’s the first day of September and while it’s still lovely outside today, fall is right around the corner.  It’s been a wonderful, relaxed summer.  We had our share of small adventures, some not so pleasant but lots of wonderful things too.  I’ve been looking through photos and I didn’t take nearly enough.  These two kind of represent some themes from this summer:  Jared with his driving face on during lots of mini-road trips to look at houses and flowers from my grandma’s garden in our little apartment.

Here are some highlights…

  • Jared and I celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary (and 7 year together anniversary).
  • And our wedding was featured in Portland Bride & Groom Magazine.
  • I finally put my domain name to use!  A big step in Lost & Fawned history.
  • I turned 23!
  • We started our house search.  We’ve learned a lot and are now more casually looking for the perfect home.
  • Had a great weekend with Jared’s siblings and our beautiful niece Sophie.
  • I finally found my (almost) dream danish modern side chairs.  They just need to be re-stained and upholstered.
  • My vintage metal kitchen cart went through rehab and turned out beautifully.
  • My Logan dog had a rough summer with emergency surgery and an incident with a nasty dog.
  • We’ve had a lot of fun taking Logan to weekly classes.  Today we start a trick class!

This autumn I think I’ll make an effort to take more photos.  We have an amazing little life and I want to document every inch of it!  Get ready for fall!  It’s almost here!

I love knitted hats, scarves, cowls, gloves, mittens, etc.  I’m so excited to start layering on the knits this autumn.  When I ran across A Alicia‘s new line of knitted cord accessories I was ready for fall.  I love the idea of wearing this cuff like a tiny scarf on your wrist or this necklace could be worn to the Thanksgiving dinner table and not look like you were wearing your outerwear.

Check out A Alicia’s Shop for more beautiful handmade accessories.
