This was a tough one for me. As beautiful as this shade is, it’s not a color I use in my personal palettes often and isn’t what you typically see for autumn. However, I did find some beautiful items in this shade of vibrant purple orchid from the Pantone’s Fall 2010 color forecast. I adore this purple floating jewel necklace with a neutral cocktail dress or this slouchy tee with dark skinny jeans, flats and a charcoal gray knit beret.

I read your blog every day and I just wanted to let you know that I’ve really enjoyed the fall pantone posts! I never think to pull these up when the season is actually approaching, and it’s cool seeing your ideas and inspirations for the different hues; it really helps illustrate how the more unique fall picks (hello, endive) can actually work for the cooler season.
