Well it’s Friday again already! Our 1st wedding anniversary is on Sunday and we’re kind of playing it by ear. We still have no idea what to get as an “us” gift. We’re toying around with the idea of putting that money away as an investment in my business. Who knows though. We’ll probably decide on Sunday.

So I just noticed it’s Friday the 13th today! I was going to do a collection of unlucky things, but instead I decided to bring you some objects to help ward off any bad luck today. Horseshoes, luck pennies, rainbows, elephants and lucky dice.
Good luck today!

So, today is the first color in my Pantone’s Fall 2010 color forecast series that I have been a little less faithful to the character of the color. Today is Lipstick Red and instead of going sultry and sassy, I took is to a more autumnal place by pairing it with browns and warm beige. I love the idea of bringing a little red into a shirt dress by tying a lipstick red ribbon around your waist, or even securing a ponytail with a simple red ribbon (bonus points if it’s a red velvet ribbon).
I apologize for a pricier collection today. I’ll try to bring you some deals next week (though that handmade leather bag is quite a deal at $75).
On Monday I’ll be bringing you a sophisticated Purple Orchid collection!
