I find myself more and more fixated lately on the idea of a brightly colored front door on our first home. And recently I have been stuck on the idea of an orange door with antique brass hardware. It’s probably a good thing we are in a rental right now, otherwise our front door would be orange by Monday and I’m not sure how Jared (or our neighbors) would feel about that.

Pantone releases their colors for each season at least a year in advance. Since fall is just around the corner (can you believe it?!) I have decided to do a series of posts devoted to the upcoming season’s beautiful pallet. You can view Pantone’s full report to see what colors I’ll be doing next.
Today, the “freshest” of fall’s colors, Endive. A beautiful, mellow yellow-green. Not typically what you would think of for autumn, I’ve paired it with moody charcoal gray and a warmer ocher (golden glow also made the list). I love endive to wake up an outfit as a bright accessory or to liven up a room as an accent pillow or in art. You just need a little to go a long way (or a lot if you like. How wonderful is that coat?).
