I’m not super tech savvy. Like of course I know a lot in comparison to my parents and grandparents, that’s a generational thing. But I certainly don’t know a lot by our generations standard. But I’m learning.
And today I took a huge leap forward and I’m happy to announce the domain I’ve been sitting on for a couple of years has finally been put to use! Welcome to lostandfawned.com! It’s MY domain and it’s active! Yay for me! Please update your bookmarks if needed. My old wordpress domain will of course still work. But this one is clean, shiny and new!
I think I’ll go eat a banana popsicle to celebrate!
I’ve been a fan of Three Blue Bee’s gorgeous wood and bamboo crocheted beads for awhile. I just envision 4 of them in a row hanging on a long brass chain. I would love to have a big grab bag of them on hand and switch the colors out on a whim to suit my mood and outfit. Today I would wear the lemon yellow beads with a charcoal gray tee and denim skirt.
Want to take home so gorgeous beads home for your fall wardrobe? Now if your chance to same 10% off of your order with Thee Blue Bee! In your message to seller include the code “ThreeLostBees” and save 10%! Offer will be valid for the next week (ending on August 13th).
The weirdest thing happened this morning. While scanning through photos on flickr this morning I ran across this photo called “Post-morning rush”. For some reason it kind of made me miss winter. I wished it was snowy but sunny out and I would have to put on boots with my sweatpants and pull on one of Jared’s over sized coats to take the dog for his morning walk, not caring I looked like a bag lady as long as I was warm. I wanted to then come inside and make a big mocha to drink while I did my morning blogging.
Then I remembered drying the dog off every time we come in, salt on the sidewalks, the gross slush I would have to trudge through, heating bills and dry skin. And I ran across this other photo in Absoluutly’s album that made me remember how much I miss summer once January arrives. I need to keep in mind that summer won’t last much longer and then I’ll have to wait another 8-9 months before it’s warm and sunny out again.
What will you miss most about summer once it’s gone?
I think I’ll wear a sundress today. And make sun tea. Anyone else want to go pick wild strawberries?
