Lost & Fawned

Daily Archives: August 4, 2010

I’m so excited to announce an amazing giveaway with one of my favorite etsy artists Kiki & Polly!  Lisa Golightly captures the joy and adventure of being a child in gorgeous paintings.  The name is derived from her daughter’s beloved bird Kiki and imaginary friend Polly.  Every painting is like a little mini adventure and leave me imagining the story behind the image.

One amazingly lucky person this week will win an 8.5 x 11 print of their choice!

To enter:

  • One Entry for commenting here and telling us which print you would like to win from Kiki & Polly’s shop.  (And to satisfy my curiosity, where would you put it?)
  • You can get a second chance to win by tweeting or blogging the giveaway and leaving another comment with the link to the blog entry or your twitter name (be sure to include @lost_and_fawned in your tweet so I can verify you tweeted!).
  • Please also remember leave your email so I know how to contact you!

A winner will be chosen at random on Thursday August 12th at Noon EST.  I will announce the winner here on the blog that afternoon.

Be sure to visit Kiki & Polly on etsy, at her website and her blog for more info and beautiful paintings.  Be sure to check back next week when we announce the winner!

Giveaway now closed! Thank you for entering!

After a nice long hiatus, I’ have begun work on my new fall collection for the relaunch of Lost & Fawned.  I’m bringing back a couple of old favorites (yes, it’s the bunny necklace!) and lots of new pieces.  After so much color this collection is going to be much more neutral with lots of mixed metals and dramatic blacks and whites.  My favorite piece so far is the copper puff heart necklace.  I made one for myself and it’s so fun to wear.

So far I have a ton of necklaces and nothing else, so I’m off to work on some more over lunch.  I’m feeling inspired again and I hope you all love it!  I’m going to be doing a MAJOR clearance sale soon of old stock so stay tuned!

I love my big black dog to pieces.  Working from home, he is my constant companion during the day.  He naps under my feet and snuggles up to me in bed.  He knows how to make me smile.  I love his endless curiosity and his frightening intelligence.

So in honor of my big boy, I’ve put together a collection of items inspired by him for boy dogs (or tomboy girl dogs) everywhere.
