Roman Holiday starring Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck is one of my favorite romantic comedies of all time. I love the story and adventure, the scenery and the clothes of course. Miss. Audrey plays the perfect character to get lost in and Gregory Peck is charming but very human. And the end of the movie! Oh the END! I won’t spoil it, but you need to watch it if you don’t know what I’m talking about.
So here is my personal interpretation of how a modern-day princess who escapes on a trip to Rome would dress. Jewelry from a street market, washed out summery cargo details, gladiator sandals and a vintage scarf a la Audrey.
1. Hasbrouck Button-Up – Anthropologie $88, 2. Vintage Silk Scarf – LOOKs on Etsy $18, 3. Reese Studded Gladiator – JCrew $138, 4. Half Moon Rising Necklace – Need Supply Co. $120, 5. Ever Brasilla Cargo Short – Revolve Clothing $145
